How to Eliminate Heat in the Loft during Summer?

The sunbeams hitting the roof heat up the loft to high temperatures. The circumferential walls, soaked in heat, just add to this state, and ventilation through the windows is ineffective.

Heat can be reduced in loft rooms also by applying the Nano Coat System active building material.

This substance has been developed with special nanotechnology and its exceptional qualities regulate the microclimate in the room to maintain a pleasant room temperature. Thanks to the transmission of heat between the molecules and its distribution over the whole area of the room, a thermal shield is formed, which absorbs heat. In this way, the walls do not heat up to high temperatures.

Which Places Should the Material be Applied to in the Loft?

Apply the Nano Coat System to all the walls and the ceiling of the loft room. Alternatively, apply it only to the circumferential walls (facade, external walls) or to the places where thermal bridges and radiators are present. In these places, it acts like a copper tube into which boiling water is poured, while one end of the tube is covered with a 2mm layer of the Nano Coat System (to hold the tube) and the other end contains a valve. You can touch the tube at the place where the Nano Coat System has been applied because it is not hot at all and has a stable temperature. At places to which the material has not been applied, the temperature of the copper tube is around 80 degrees, and it cannot be touched.

Nano Coat System consists of: 

Nano PT - represents deep penetration that stabilizes the foundations. It is used for absorbent cohesive surfaces and is applied with a brush or roller.
Nano AM - it is used on all other surfaces where we can not use Nano PT. Thus, non-absorbent cohesive surfaces such as glass, iron and others. Apply with a brush or roller.
Nano TC - it is used to repair holes, cracks and small irregularities of size up to 3-4mm.
Nano Coat Homethe final layer of mass applied by a stainless comb trowel to a pre-treated, smooth surface of about 2 mm thick. After drying, grind the surface with sandpaper.


Apply in the following order: 

1. Nano PT or Nano AM,

2. Nano TC, if necessary to repair the surface,

3. final layer Nano Coat Home.
