How to Eliminate Humidity in Children’s Bedrooms?

Children’s bedrooms are special rooms in the flat because children spend most of their time there, doing their homework, playing or sleeping. It is important to maintain ideal humidity in children’s bedrooms, which is around 40%. Anything above this limit can cause problems, such as difficult breathing during sleep or a risk of the appearance of moulds.

You can eliminate excessive humidity in your child’s bedroom and prevent the appearance of unpleasant moulds also by the Nano Coat System building material. 

Thanks to this special mixture developed with nanotechnology, you can tackle the problems with humidity effectively. By applying it to the walls, a thermal reflective layer is formed which reflects thermal radiation back to the room but permeates water vapour. It removes excessive humidity and, consequently, prevents the appearance of moulds. The room will heat up faster and an ideal microclimate is achieved. Its application prevents the condensation of moisture on the surface of the walls and the ceilings, so the walls can breathe naturally. With the Nano Coat System, moisture in the structure decreases by about 10% compared to structures without the application of the system. The product is hypoallergenic and its surface is antibacterial. Therefore, it is ideal for rooms where children stay.




Which Places Should the Material be Applied to in Children’s Bedrooms?

Apply the Nano Coat System to all the walls and the ceiling of your child’s bedroom. You can apply it also to all the circumferential walls (façade, external walls) or to the places where thermal bridges are present. Also around the windows and the balcony door.


Nano Coat System consists of: 

Nano PT - represents deep penetration that stabilizes the foundations. It is used for absorbent cohesive surfaces and is applied with a brush or roller.

Nano AM - it is used on all other surfaces where we can not use Nano PT. Thus, non-absorbent cohesive surfaces such as glass, iron and others. Apply with a brush or roller.

Nano TC - it is used to repair holes, cracks and small irregularities of size up to 3-4mm.

Nano Coat Homethe final layer of mass applied by a stainless comb trowel to a pre-treated, smooth surface of about 2 mm thick. After drying, grind the surface with sandpaper.

 

Apply in the following order: 

 1. Nano PT or Nano AM,

2. Nano TC, if necessary to repair the surface,

3. final layer Nano Coat Home.
