How to Get Rid of Moulds around Entrance Doors by Applying the Nano Coat System

If a corridor in the flat or house is adjacent to the exterior, the entrance door becomes a thermal bridge. With an increase in moisture, water vapours condense in the corridor not only on the surface of the doors but also around the door frame. Consequently, moulds may appear and they will keep appearing even when they are removed with disinfectants.

If you want to eliminate the risk of moulds appearing at the entrance door of your flat, find the root cause of the problem in the structure and try to solve it. Applying the Nano Coat System, combined with other types of measures, is a good form of prevention.

For example, if you use the Nano AM special primer, the substance may be subsequently applied even to non-absorbent surfaces, such as wall tiles, glass, iron or floor tiles.



Which Places Should the Material be Applied to around the Door?

You can apply the system on all the walls of the corridor, including around the door frame because that is the place where water vapours condense, which is prevented by the Nano Coat System. Apply the substance also to all the circumferential walls (façade, external walls) or to the places where thermal bridges are present. Apply it to all the problematic places where the risk of the appearance of moulds is greater.


Nano Coat System consists of: 

Nano PT - represents deep penetration that stabilizes the foundations. It is used for absorbent cohesive surfaces and is applied with a brush or roller.

Nano AM - it is used on all other surfaces where we can not use Nano PT. Thus, non-absorbent cohesive surfaces such as glass, iron and others. Apply with a brush or roller.

Nano TC - it is used to repair holes, cracks and small irregularities of size up to 3-4mm.

Nano Coat Homethe final layer of mass applied by a stainless comb trowel to a pre-treated, smooth surface of about 2 mm thick. After drying, grind the surface with sandpaper.
 

Apply in the following order: 

1. Nano PT or Nano AM,

2. Nano TC, if necessary to repair the surface,

3. final layer Nano Coat Home.
