How to Get Rid of Moulds in Children’s Bedrooms?

Children’s bedrooms, their kingdoms, are an important place in which a pleasant climate should be maintained without increased humidity because that is what causes moulds to appear. Moulds release spores into the air which the children inhale and, as a consequence, they may develop various diseases such as respiratory infections, cough, skin diseases, allergic reactions and asthma. Moulds can appear on the walls, in the corners of the room, behind the wardrobes, and may even attack the furniture, linen and toys.

The material actively creates a thermal reflective layer which reflects thermal radiation back to the room while removing excessive moisture. Which Places Should the Material be Applied to in Children’s Bedrooms?

Apply the Nano Coat System to the walls behind the furniture, to all the circumferential walls (façade, external walls) or to the places where thermal bridges are present. Apply it around the windows and balcony doors, too, because water vapours may condense in these places. If your wall is already affected by moulds, the most important thing is to get rid of them and to do the necessary repairs to the structure of the wall; apply the building material only subsequently.

By combining the Nano Coat System with measures like regular ventilation and placement of the furniture minimum 10 to 15 cm from the wall, you can effectively prevent the appearance of moulds.

Nano Coat System consists of: 

Nano PT - represents deep penetration that stabilizes the foundations. It is used for absorbent cohesive surfaces and is applied with a brush or roller.

Nano AM - it is used on all other surfaces where we can not use Nano PT. Thus, non-absorbent cohesive surfaces such as glass, iron and others. Apply with a brush or roller.

Nano TC - it is used to repair holes, cracks and small irregularities of size up to 3-4mm.

Nano Coat Homethe final layer of mass applied by a stainless comb trowel to a pre-treated, smooth surface of about 2 mm thick. After drying, grind the surface with sandpaper.

Apply in the following order: 

 1. Nano PT or Nano AM,

2. Nano TC, if necessary to repair the surface,

3. final layer Nano Coat Home.
