How to Get Rid of Moulds in the Pantry?

Moulds can appear in the pantry due to increased humidity and it is important to prevent them before they attack the walls, the ceiling and the shelves. Moulds present a problem even for the food stored because they can attack that, too.

The Nano Coat System building material also helps you prevent and eliminate the appearance of moulds in the pantry.

Which Places Should the Material be Applied to in the Pantry?

Apply the Nano Coat System especially to all the circumferential walls (façade, external walls) or to the places where thermal bridges are present. Apply it also around the windows because water vapours may condense in these places. Remember to apply it also on the walls behind the shelves because that is the place where air cannot circulate sufficiently, which may lead to the appearance of moulds.

If your wall is already affected by moulds, the most important thing is to get rid of them and repair the structure of the wall; apply the building material only subsequently.

Nano AM - it is used on all other surfaces where we can not use Nano PT. Thus, non-absorbent cohesive surfaces such as glass, iron and others. Apply with a brush or roller.

Nano TC - it is used to repair holes, cracks and small irregularities of size up to 3-4mm.

Nano Coat Homethe final layer of mass applied by a stainless comb trowel to a pre-treated, smooth surface of about 2 mm thick. After drying, grind the surface with sandpaper.

Apply in the following order: 

1. Nano PT or Nano AM,

2. Nano TC, if necessary to repair the surface,

3. final layer Nano Coat Home.
