Mold in the office: how to get rid of mold behind cabinets?

The main cause of mold is increased humidity. Mold thrives in poorly ventilated areas without air flow like space behind furniture. Mold also appears on facade or perimeter walls (outer walls). These walls are colder than others. If you have a cabinet located around the perimeter wall, it is very likely that you may find mold there.

Do not give mold any chance. The Nano Coat System, which has been developed with special nanotechnology, prevent the formation of mold.

It is a fine-grained paste-like interior building material that reduces the risk of mold formation. It helps to achieve optimal indoor moisture and prevents condensation of water vapor on the surface thanks to its high porosity and breathability.

On which parts of the office should the material be applied?

Apply Nano Coat System to all walls behind furniture and to all peripheral (facade, exterior) walls and places where thermal bridges are located, around the windows and balcony doors where water vapor can condensate.

If your walls are already infested by mold, it is important first to get rid of it and repair the wall construction, and only then apply the material.

A combination of Nano Coat System, regular ventilation and at least 10 -15 cm space between furniture and the wall can effectively prevent mold formation.

Nano Coat System consists of:

Nano PT - represents deep penetration that stabilizes the foundations. It is used for absorbent cohesive surfaces and is applied with a brush or roller.

Nano AM - it is used on all other surfaces where we can not use Nano PT. Thus, non-absorbent cohesive surfaces such as glass, iron and others. Apply with a brush or roller.

Nano TC - it is used to repair holes, cracks and small irregularities of size up to 3-4mm.

Nano Coat Homethe final layer of mass applied by a stainless comb trowel to a pre-treated, smooth surface of about 2 mm thick. After drying, grind the surface with sandpaper.

Apply in the following order:

1. Nano PT or Nano AM,

2. Nano TC, if necessary to repair the surface,

3. final layer Nano Coat Home.
