The Solution How to Get Rid of Moulds in the Bathroom by Applying Nano Coat System

Moulds thrive in warm and moist places. In a house or flat, the bathroom is an ideal place for them. Moreover, excessive humidity and inadequate ventilation cause moulds to appear and spread very quickly.

How to get rid of them while maintaining heat in the bathroom?

The biggest problem with moulds in the bathroom is that they tend to appear in inaccessible or hidden places (on the tiles under the washbasin, behind the washing machine, in the corners of the room, on the ceiling etc.). They can be often found also on the grout between the tiles which is hard to clean. Therefore, there is a higher risk that you cannot remove all the moulds. Besides being a problem from the aesthetic aspect, moulds are dangerous to health, too. They release spores into the air. These particles are invisible but contaminate other objects and areas and lead to increased morbidity, respiratory infections, headaches and the subsequent development of allergies.

There are numerous products against moulds. However, disinfection removes them only temporarily. If you do not reduce the humidity and the heat in the bathroom, moulds will keep coming back.

The Helske company has developed a special active substance based on nanostructures which offers several amazing features.

The Nano Coat System is vapour permeable, so moisture does not stay in the bathroom but escapes through the structure. On the other hand, it creates a certain texture on the surface of the wall, which reflects heat and the bathroom stays pleasantly warm. Another wonderful advantage of the Nano Coat System is that you can combine products as you wish. For example, if you use the Nano AM special primer, the substance may be subsequently applied even to non-absorbent surfaces, such as wall tiles, glass, iron or floor tiles.

Which Places Should the Material be Applied to in the Bathroom?

The system can be applied to all the walls of the bathroom, including the ceiling. Apply it also to the reveals around the windows that is the place where water vapours condense, which can be prevented with the Nano Coat System. Apply the substance also to all the circumferential walls (façade, external walls) or to the places where thermal bridges are present. Apply it to all the problematic places where the risk of the appearance of moulds is greater. Another advantage of the system is its applicability to non-absorbent surfaces, such as wall tiles, floor tiles, marble, glass etc.

Nano Coat System consists of:

Nano PT - represents deep penetration that stabilizes the foundations. It is used for absorbent cohesive surfaces and is applied with a brush or roller.

Nano AM - it is used on all other surfaces where we can not use Nano PT. Thus, non-absorbent cohesive surfaces such as glass, iron and others. Apply with a brush or roller.

Nano TC - it is used to repair holes, cracks and small irregularities of size up to 3-4mm.

Nano Coat Homethe final layer of mass applied by a stainless comb trowel to a pre-treated, smooth surface of about 2 mm thick. After drying, grind the surface with sandpaper.

Apply in the following order:

1. Nano PT or Nano AM,

2. Nano TC, if necessary to repair the surface,

3. final layer Nano Coat Home.
